Boss sees bright future for Derby County striker but Town won't be signing him
Martin Allen predicts a bright future for a young striker he had on trial, but the Spireites won't be signing him.
Lewis Walker, a Derby County prospect who might have been a loan addition to Allen’s Chesterfield squad, impressed the boss during his pre-season friendly appearances.
“Young Walker, I thought he did extremely well on Saturday (at Nuneaton) but at the moment I just can’t bring him in,” said Allen.
“He’s a good player, he’s going to be a very good player.
