Teversal sealed victory in stoppage time to leave Heanor frustrated.
Frustrated Glen Clarence says Heanor have no-one to blame but themselves after their 3-2 defeat at home to Teversal.

The Town chief was left disappointed by his side’s wasteful finishing and slack defending as they slumped to defeat.

Lee Naughton hit a stoppage time winner for The Tevie boys in a match which saw Heanor defender Max Thornberry play in goal for the last 70 minutes following an injury to Joe McCormack.

“I'm very disappointed with the defeat,” Clarence said. “If you don't take your chances and give them goals then you will lose football matches.

“It is our doing. We had numerous chances to put the ball in the box and to score goals which we haven't taken.

“They have had three chances, which we gave them, and they scored three.

“We still should have won that game, we made three mistakes and it cost us. We could have scored 13 goals and there lies the problem.”
