Canal boat pull

Proving his fitness at the age of 80, Desmond Stoker pulled this six ton narrow boat for a mile and a half along Cromford Canal.

The tough journey took two hours in order for him to complete and raised in excess of £600 for the Cromford Canal Society.

On board were his grand daughters Georgina and Samatha, Mrs Stoker and Judy the dog.
