Doggy heroes

Rough collies Sheba and Trixie were heroes when fire threatened to engulf the laundry room in which they slept.
The dogs’ barking woke the Banks family at their Dales and Peaks Hotel, in Darley Dale, in the early hours of the morning.
Six–foot flames were then discovered coming from the washing machine.
Guests were evacuated and Mr Banks doused the blaze with a fire extinguisher.
