Police appeal after sexual assault in Buxton

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted in Buxton.

On Saturday, December 29 between 9.30pm and 10pm a woman was sexually assaulted within the vicinity of Hardwick Square in the town centre.

The woman has described her attacker as having dark skin, aged late 40s to early 50s and was of a slim build. He had a white goatee style beard and white thick hair, pulled back possibly into a pony tail. He was described as scruffy and was wearing a grey jacket.
