Station hosts falconry
A train station will be hosting an uplifting display next weekend.
Peak Rail will host a falconry display in the picnic area at Rowsley South Station on Sunday, July 15.
The event will be open from noon to 4.30pm and admission is free.
There will be a selection of owls, hawks and falcons being displayed by the Owl Experience Educational Centre from Risley.
Between seven and ten birds will be available giving a variety of flying demonstrations as well as static handling displays.
