Cycling fans have plenty to look forward to in High Peak this summer with a range of events aimed at attracting visitors to the area and encouraging people to get on their bikes.

The Tour de France sweeps into the north of the county for six miles on July 6 and more than 2,000 cyclists are expected to take part in L’Eroica, a vintage bike festival in Bakewell on June 20 to 22.

The council’s Summer of Cycling progamme also features a range of other cycling events, competitions and activities.
