Motown show is back for more

CELEBRATE over 50 years of the sweet sound of Motown with a show at Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall on Friday, December 16, from 7.30pm.

Motown’s Greatest Hits – How Sweet It Is is back by popular demand.

Now in its ninth successive year, this 100 per cent live show celebrates the very best of 50 golden years of Motown music, featuring songs from legendary artists such as The Temptations, The Four Tops, Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, The Jackson Five, The Isley Brothers and many, many more.

How Sweet It Is both celebrates and recreates all the wonderful vibes and music that originated in Detroit, and in particular music from The Four Tops and The Temptations, along with other legendary artists from the period, taking you on a musical journey through the golden Tamla Motown days of the 60s and 70s.

Featured hits include Reach Out I’ll Be There, Walk Away Renee, Bernadette, I Cant Help Myself, The Same Old Song, Going Loco in Acapulco, My Girl, Ain’t Too Proud To Beg, Treat Her Like a Lady, and Get Ready, to name but a few.
