A Bakewell supermarket will hold a one-off charity event this weekend, to raise much-needed cash for the British Heart Foundation.
Shoppers at the Co-op will be able to win Fairtrade products and £50 food hampers, by buying £1 raffle tickets.

There will also be children's activities at the Market Street store, including a hook-a-duck game to win prizes.

Fresh food manager Robert Foster, who planned the event, hoped to raise lots of money and raise awareness of heart disease.

Mr Foster said: "We really hope that as many people as possible will come along and take part in the competitions.

"Staff will ditch their normal uniform for charity tee-shirts to make sure everyone is aware of what we're doing and why.

"It's a good way to support a worthy cause while having a chance to win something," he added.

The raffle draw will be held on Saturday August 30.
