Party time for carers

More than 200 carers attended a birthday bash in Bakewell to say thank you for the support of a Derbyshire charity.
Derbyshire Carers' Association celebrated its 20th anniversary with a party at the Agricultural Centre.

Guests were entertained with a magician, a singer and a music quiz, as well as a raffle and a buffet.

A number of local firms also contributed to goody bags which were given out.

The event also marked National Carers' Week, which celebrates the work of carers thoughout the UK.
