This was the scene from Matlock Lido on Tuesday as roof repair work continued.
Work was delayed on Monday due to heavy rain but council chiefs said the main pool was still on schedule to re-open by the end of March.

A crane was put up in the town as contractors moved in to tackle essential roof repairs and problems identified in a full condition survey of the building.

The Lido is to get a replacement boiler, improvements to changing room ventilation and mechanical and electrical works to keep it safe and in working order for the next three years

Problems with the roof structure led to the closure of the pool in summer.
