Artisits will go wild for fowl when an unusual exhibition returns to a Peak District town in early September.
Britain's top wildfowl carvers will flock to the Dales on Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13 for Bakewell's Festival of Bird Art.

The event was such a success when held for the first time at the Agricultural Business Centre that organisers want to make it an annual show in Bakewell.

The British Decoy Wildfowl Carvers Association will hold its championships at the event, featuring a wide variety of carvings from artists of all levels of skill and experience.

Well-known wildlife artists and photographers are also set to attend.

Admission is £2 for adults, £1 for senior citizens and is free for under 16s.

The festival will be open from 11am to 5pm on Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
