ENTHUSIASTIC youngsters put pen to paper at a Peak District school as part of its week-long literary festival.
Litton Primary School pupils visited Lady Manners School, in Bakewell, last Wednesday, February 10, for a fun workshop with children's illustrator Lynne Chapman.

Lynne – who has published over 30 colourful books, including Class Two at the Zoo – taught the young artists how to tell captivating stories through pictures.

It was one of 37 events organised and funded by Lady Manners School to reach out to pupils at its feeder schools.

The literary festival featured story-telling, puppet shows and workshops with top authors.
