Visitors were treated to gorgeous gardens and sunny weather at a Peak District village's annual floral festival.
Over 30 villagers opened their gardens to tourists at the weekend, as part of this year's Birchover Open Gardens event.

A wide variety of beautiful and colourful floral displays brought the village to life.

A traditional flower display was arranged inside St Michael's Church to commemorate religious events.

Villagers also erected stalls in their gardens to sell teas, cakes, plants and crafts to visitors.

All the proceeds from this year's open gardens event will go to the upkeep of the church and the village hall reading rooms.
