Flooding was reported at several spots across the Dales on Saturday, as warmer weather began to melt the snow of the last three weeks.
Trains on the Derwent Valley Line were stopping at Ambergate due to flooding at Cromford Railway Station. Water could be seen flowing over the edges of the Lea Road rail bridge at 1pm.

Replacement bus services were running to Cromford, Matlock Bath and Matlock stations. To check train timetables, call East Midland Trains on 08712 004950.

Floods caused tailbacks on the A6 at Rowsley, the B5035 between Ashbourne and Wirksworth, the A517 between Hulland Ward and Ashbourne and the A619 at Baslow.

Derbyshire police said on Saturday afternoon that the flooded roads were passable with care.
