Needlecraft experts displayed their skills and embroidery work at an exhibition at Haddon Hall.
Matlock and District Embroiderers Group members entertained visitors with demonstrations of their ancient techniques and beautiful work.

Chairman Marilyn Swannell said: "The exhibition proved to be a great success with members and also a great deal of interest was expressed by visitors to the hall.

"In fact we were told by some visitors that they had seen the notice outside Haddon advertising the exhibition of embroidery and came in because of it," she added.

The group is open to new members.
