Panto organisers are looking for youngsters to step onto the stage as part of their annual production.
Buxton Opera House wants to find a troupe of young dancers for this year's production of Cinderella, which runs from Friday December 12 to Saturday January 3.

The show's producers – Channel Theatre – want to meet children who will be aged between nine and 15 on January 1 next year and who are trained and experienced dancers with lots of confidence.

Children who want to audition for the event must be available for the entire rehearsal period as well as for the run of the show.

They may also be required to attend one or two sessions before rehearsals begin.

Auditions will be held at Buxton Opera House on Sunday August 31. There will be three sessions of auditions, one for nine and ten year olds at 10am, another at 11am for 11 to 13-year-olds and one at 12.30pm for 14 and 15 year-olds.

To reserve a place phone the Opera House admin office on 01298 72050.

Tickets for Cinderella are on sale now, priced from £13.50 to £18 and discounts are available.
