Children stepped out in aid of their Peak District pre-school group, with a sponsored walking event.
Rowsley Pre-School held its Welly Walk around a circular course, with walkers receiving a sticker on their cardboard wellies for each a lap.

They also enjoyed a visit from Shetland pony Dingle, and his owner Sarah Champion.

Pre-school committee chairwoman Polly Atkin said: "Sarah very kindly agreed to bring Dingle down for the afternoon and the children loved him.

"They all took turns to lead him round and fuss over him.

"I would like to say a big thank you to all those who attended and made it such a great afternoon," added Polly.
