A NEW Mills woman has raised £1,122.40 for Chapel-en-le-Frith’s Blythe House Hospice after competing in the Tough Mudder North West event.
The 12-13 mile obstacle course is designed by the Special Forces to test strength, stamina and mental grit.
Michelle Ryan, who had never run further than 10k before, said: “Blythe House Hospice makes a big difference to people’s lives. I wanted to support them as they are such a worthwhile charity and do such good work in our community.
“Tough Mudder was tough, but such a great challenge to do, and I am so pleased to have raised this amount for the hospice.”
Michelle would like to thank all her sponsors.
