Fat pets targeted

PORTLY pets are being targeted by a special animal nutritional advisor who covers the Peak District.

Stephanie Wilkinson has been employed by OSCAR, a mobile pet food home delivery service, to dish out free advice to animal lovers who think their pets needs to slim down.

She says a closely-watched diet and exercise are an integral part of a pet’s life, and cut help cut down on expensive vets’ bills.

She said: “Obesity in pets can lead to poor health, diabetes, heart and joint problems. You can help to remedy such complaints through a complete diet coupled with exercise.
