LANDLORDS with empty properties in towns in the Derbyshire Dales are being invited to get involved in a new scheme, which aims to use empty homes.
In partnership with Derbyshire Dales District Council, the Waterloo Housing Group is looking to lease the empty properties from landlords who may not have the time or funds to refurbish them.
The scheme is being delivered with funding from the Homes and Communities Agency and enough funding has been provided to initially refurbish around 12 homes.
Waterloo Housing would refurbish the property to an agreed standard, insure it, maintain it and lease it to a tenant.
