Spring fair needs business sponsors

An opportunity has arisen for businesses to get involved with Derbyshire Eco Centre’s spring fair.

The two-day event is being held at the innovative centre in Middleton-by-Wirksworth on April 14 and 15.

Aiming to entertain as well as educate, the free event will feature craft demonstrations, sustainable living skills, textile displays by local school children and much more.

Cllr Mike Longden, cabinet member for education, said: “It will be the first time we have staged a spring fair at the eco centre which follows on from successful events which have attracted hundreds of visitors.

To find out more about sponsoring the event contact Derbyshire Eco Centre on 01629 533038 or email ecocentre@derbyshire.gov.uk
