Police say they have identified the people allegedly responsible for setting hedgehogs on fire and killing them in Derbyshire.

Officers issued an appeal for information after the incident occurred last week.

But police have now issued a statement saying: "the parties involved have been interviewed and spoken to regarding the offence.

"We are not looking for anybody else."

They added that enquiries are ongoing.

The incident occurred at Manor Park in Glossop on August 21.
