House fire near Bakewell
A blaze in an electrical heating system caused a small house fire last night (Tuesday, September 23).
Firefighters from Bakewell and Matlock attended the property in Station Road, Hassop, near Bakewell, at 9.59pm.
The electrical supply was isolated and a CO2 extinguisher used to put out the fire, which was out by midnight.
The electrical and gas boards were also in attendance.
