Alarming shed crime
SHED and garage alarms have been handed out to residents on one Dales street after a spate of overnight burglaries.
Three garages on Mount Pleasant Road in Grindleford were broken into overnight between Wednesday, October 17, and the early hours of Thursday, October 18.
Officers from the Hathersage Safer Neighbourhood Team have since visited the victims and other residents in the area to offer crime prevention advice.
They have also distributed several shed and garage alarms to be fitted at properties in the area.
Anyone with information related to the burglaries is encouraged to call police using the non-emergency number 101.
