Netta Christie with the new Buxton discovery tram

Netta Christie with the new Buxton discovery tram

Buxton’s latest tourist attraction will be officially launched next month.

The Wonder of the Peak Victorian-style tram, which is actually a converted milk float, is to be blessed and launched on March 2 at 2pm at Turner’s Memorial, Buxton. The event will be attended by a number of local dignitaries and it is hoped local residents will also attend.

From March, the tram will take in lower and higher Buxton before then travelling onto Poole’s Cavern.
