A BAKEWELL dentist has become the first in Derbyshire to pick up a Dignity in Care Bronze award for knowing the drill when it comes to delivering high standards of patient care.

Diamond Court Dental Practice has been awarded the accolade by NHS Derbyshire County as part of its Dignity in Care campaign – which aims to recognise care services that treat patients with dignity and respect.

Anne Askew, practice manager at Diamond Court Dental Practice, said: “We’re all incredibly proud to have achieved the Dignity in Care Bronze Award. Putting dignity and respect at the heart of everything we do is absolutely paramount, so we’re honoured that our staff’s passion and commitment has been recognised at the highest level.”

A special award recognising Diamond Court Dental Practice’s achievements is to be given by Bill Nicol, head of adult safeguarding at NHS Derbyshire County.
