Panto–goers will see some babes perform on stage when Tansley Players put on their latest show.

Joyce Leaney has rewritten the classic tale ‘Babes in the Wood’, which is due to be performed at Tansley Village Hall, in Church Street, over four nights between Wednesday, February 6, and Saturday, February 9.

The show is being produced by Bev Oates and the cast features April Saunders as the Sheriff of Nottingham, Mia Lucas and Poppy Lacey as the babes, Molly Watts as Maid Marion and Chloe Arbury as Robin Hood.

The play also features Lee Brandrick as the babes’ nurse, Charlotte Gale as a henchman and George Watts as Bo–Bo the Bear.

The choreography has been arranged by Lynne Byrne and musical direction has been provided by Bill Templeman.

Tickets cost £6 for adults and £3 for children and can be bought by calling Bev Oates on 01629 582154 or alternatively by emailing tansleyplayers@gmail.com
