Birchover boasts an array of festive treats
BIRCHOVER Carnival Committee are hosting an array of festive events this Christmas in a bid to raise money for the village’s annual carnival.
There will be a Yueltide Fayre in the village hall from 10.30am until 1pm on Saturday, December 15, where attendees can decorate cupcakes, have their faces painted and sing carols.
On Friday, December 21, the Red Lion is host to the Winter Guisers – a fancy-dress performance – as well as a raffle.
To finish, on Sunday, December 23, people are urged to ‘find their festive hats and jingle bells’ for a traditional carol singing event round the village complete with delicious mulled wine.
