Bonus on the busses

A POPULAR bus ticket is set to offer even better value for people planning visits in the run-up to Christmas.

From November 4, trent barton is cutting the price of a zigzag group ticket – which will offer a day of unlimited travel for up to five people for £9.

Alex Hornby, the firm’s commercial director, said: “We know how expensive this time of year can be and we want to help people in any way we can.

“The zigzag family of tickets have proved immensely popular and we thought these price cuts will help regular customers save a bit of money they can put towards Christmas shopping.

“We also hope to encourage even more people to leave their car at home and take the bus instead.”
