Bridge struck
Traffic was disrupted after yet another lorry struck the bridge at Ambergate.
The vehicle went onto its side after hitting the bridge that goes across the A6 at the Hurt Arms. The incident occurred at 10.10am today.
The driver was not injured and the road was closed briefly while police tended to the scene.
This is the third time in five months the bridge has been struck and campaigners are questioning the safety of the route for lorries.
