Generous cafe staff and big-hearted customers have raised pots of cash for charity in a popular annual fundraiser.

Diane’s Tasty Bites, at the M1 Commerce Park, off Markham Lane, Duckmanton, notched up £300 for the Alzheimer’s Society after receiving donations from diners.

Cafe owners Diane and Paul Hawkins said: “Yet again our customers have been so generous in these tough times.

“We’d like to say a great big thank you to them,” added the generous pair.

The Alzheimer’s Society provides support to dementia sufferers as well as their families and carers.
