Cash raised from fireworks

A fund–raising event went off with a bang over the August bank holiday weekend.

Barn Farm Campsite, in Birchover, hosted a firework display on Sunday, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Donations raised from collections on the night came to £221.76, which was matched by the campsite to make a grand total of £443.52 for the charity.
