Charity cricket pilgrimage success
Three team mates from Darley Dale Cricket Club successfully completed a 150 mile charity pilgrimage from their ground on Station Road to Lords, the home of cricket in London.
Jonny Shaw, 26, Stuart Taylor, 34, and Jon Cooper, 34, of Matlock, walked for eight continuous days on their monumental hike to mark Darley Dale Cricket Club’s 150th anniversary.
The trio trekked for up to 32 miles at a time – in aid of Cancer Research UK, the Matlock Hospital League of Friends and their cricket club – and have raised £4500 so far.
