Choral service a winter warmer

An evening of choral music will put people in the Christmas spirit.

Bakewell Choral Society will host a carol service on Saturday, December 15.

There will be some old favourites sung as well as new songs and audience participation.

Charlotte Kidd and Rosie Kreit will play a piano duet and there will be seasonal refreshments served.

The choir, conducted by Jon Weller will be accompanied by Amanda Kornas on piano and Keith Hodgson on organ.

The concert, at Bakewell Methodist Church, starts at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £5, with entry free to accompanied children and students, and are on sale at Bakewell Bookshop.
