A consultation on the future of ambulance service in the Dales has drawn to a close.
East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) has proposed the closure of 16 ambulance stations across the county, including Bakewell and Matlock in a bid to save cash.
The service has also proposed the creation of two ‘super stations’ at Chesterfield and Derby.
The EMAS Trust Board will hold a meeting on Thursday, January 10, to review the report which will detail the feedback received during the consultation.
The final plans will be reviewed at a meeting on Monday, January 28.
Any decision reached at the meeting will be relayed to the public via the EMAS website, www.emas.nhs.uk, Twitter account @EMASNHSTrust
