SNAPPERS across the Dales have a few hours left to focus their talents for the Photographer of the Year competition.

The deadline for applications closes at midnight tonight, so if you haven’t already submitted your prize-winning shot – you still have time.

Photographs must have been taken within the Matlock town boundary and both the council and the Mercury reserve the right to publish all photographs submitted.

Entries must include the photographer’s name, age, address and telephone number and should be emailed to news@matlockmercury.co.uk.
