Best Family Friendly Venue (joint winners) – Scrumdiddlyumptious, Wirksworth, and Foresters Bar and Restaurant, Darley Moor

Councillor Joan Dixon, cabinet member for jobs, economy and transport at Derbyshire County Council, which organised the awards, said: “Derbyshire has so many fantastic food and drink businesses that it is getting harder each year to pick a winner.

“They all play an important role in the Derbyshire’s economy and we are delighted that our awards give them all much deserved recognition.”

Entries were judged on a number of criteria including the quality of food and drink served, customer service, use of county produce and acknowledgement of it on menus.

Each shortlisted venue had a mystery shopper visit.
