Creative display in Rowsley

Creative trainees celebrated a six-month project with an art exhibition in Rowsley. The work was on show at First Movement's flagship building, the Level Centre.

The project as part of the Future Jobs Fund initiative included drama, visual arts and poetry from graduating trainees Deborah Windle, Don Wazejewski, Vicki Nottingham and Ann Leblanc.

Janette Hockley-Webster, coordinator at the Level Centre, said: "Our four trainees in post have not only helped us to provide creative activities for people with learning disabilities but have hopefully strengthened their own employability in the future.

"This is a great use of a precious people resource in the region."
