Crowds flock to Y Not festival - with pictures
Music lovers were not put off by the heavy rain and braved the elements for a mud-soaked showcase of chart-topping acts.
Party-goers flocked to the Y Not Festival, in Pikehall near Matlock from July 31 to August 2, to see top bands performing alongside emerging talent – and made the most of the mud by taking part in wrestling and sliding contests.
An eclectic mix of music was on offer at the intimate three-day event from country folk, to indie rock and dance.
Festival fans mucked in together to beat the weather and enjoy the line-up which included headliners Noah and the Whale, Young Knives and The King Blues.

Organiser Ralph Broadbent, said: "It was fantastic. We sold out for the first time. We had 4,000 people on the site and they all said they had a really good weekend.
"It was very, very muddy but I think it seemed to lift people's spirits more than ever."
The capacity for the three-day event had been doubled and also included an acoustic stage, comedians, art performances and poetry, yoga, stalls and a chill-ut area.
Other acts to perform included Johnny Foreigner, Nine Black Alps, Bombay Bicycle Club, London-based band Minus IQ, international beat box world champion Beardyman and former Million Dead front man Frank Turner.
The festival also aimed to raise the profile of local bands and this year, 30 per cent of the slots were reserved for Derbyshire acts.
Eclectic duo HUW, made up of talented Wirksworth brothers, Aaron and Mike Dolton, played on the acoustic stage on Sunday along with Matlock-based indie rockers The Something?.
Other Midlands acts included buzz band, Esteban, with their unique mix of soul stirring world pop music and indie rock, Derby-based power-pop band The Souvenirs and seven-piece ska band Shot Shot Stacy, from Bakewell.
A green theme was also prominent with a reward scheme for those who minimised their carbon footprints while travelling to the festival.
Ralph added: "I think it was a massive improvement on last year. I definitely think it was the best one so far but it was also the most stressful!"
