Police chiefs are recruiting again to boost the number of Derbyshire bobbies.

Applicants can take part in the first stage of the recruitment process between 10am on Tuesday, May 6, and 3pm on Friday, May 9.

The first stage is a compulsory online assessment which checks eligibility to apply. If approved, candidates then need carry out two further online assessments checking whether they have the skills and aptitude to be a police officer.

A Derbyshire Police spokesman said: “As we only have a limited number of application forms to allocate for places on courses in 2015 onwards, we are looking for the best candidates.”
