Community heroes across Derbyshire are celebrating after being named in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List.

Here is a full rundown of county folk who have been honoured.

Sandra Lawton, of Baslow, for services to nursing

Ann Pamela Kenworthy, of Hope, for services to legal aid

Jeremy Charles Richardson, of Chesterfield, for services to unemployed people and voluntary service in Derby

David Leslie Walker, of Bakewell, for services to people with disabilities

MEMBER OF THE ORDER OF THE BRITISH EMPIRE (MBE)

Helen Iranette Bishop, of Matlock, for services to industry and communities

Anne Cawthorn, of High Peak, for services to cancer patients in Manchester and Derbyshire

Andrea Susan Fox, of Belper, for services to young people and the community in Belper

William Harry Hardy, of Ilkeston, for services to grassroots football

James Fergus Rosie, of Chesterfield, for services to military operational Capability

Professor Lorna Winifred Unwin, of Matlock, for services to vocational education and training
