Heavy traffic on the M1

Commuters face heavy traffic this morning on the A6 eastbound in Kegworth between East Midlands Airport and the Nottinngham Road junction.

Other traffic problems this mornin are as follows -

There is queueing traffic westbound on A628 Woodhead Pass at the Glossop turn off due to roadworks.

Rylah Hill in Palterton is closed and there is heavy traffic in both directions near the Main Street junction due to an overturned vehicle.

There is slow traffic on the A38 southbound in Coxbench between the B6179 Derby Road junction and Little Eaton Island.

Traffic is slow on the A42 southbound between J14, A453 (Castle Donington) in Breedon on the Hill and J13, A511 (Ashby-De-La-Zouch) in Lount.

Both directions of the A453 in Kegworth between East Midlands Airport and the Kegworth Road junction are moving slowly.

There is slow traffic on A511 Ashby Road westbound in Burton Upon Trent at the A444 Stapenhill Road junction.

The A610 eastbound in Awsworth between Ikea Island and Nottingham is moving slowly.

There is heavy traffic on the A635 Stamford Street westbound in Stalybridge at the B6176 Rassbottom Street traffic lights junction.

In Greater Manchester at the A6018 Stamford Street / Mottram Road in Stalybridge traffic is busy but moving at the B6175 Huddersfield Road traffic lights junction.
