Derbyshire Traffic update (June 2)

Commuters and residents in Derbyshire are facing the following problems on the roads this morning (Monday, June 2) -

One lane closed on the M1 southbound between J25, A52 (Nottingham) and J24a, A50 (Derby), because of a vehicle fire resulting in very slow traffic.

Traffic is queueing on the A628 Woodhead Pass in both directions at the Glossop turn off due to roadworks.

There is heavy traffic on the A38 southbound in Little Eaton between the Morley Lane junction and Little Eaton Island due to roadworks.

There is heavy traffic on the A52 Brian Clough Way inbound in Nottingham between Bramcote Island and Priory Island.

On the A6018 Stamford Street and Mottram Road in Stalybridge traffic is busy but moving at the B6175 Huddersfield Road traffic lights junction.
