Derwent Valley art project will take to the water

editorial image

Communities in the Derwent Valley are encouraged to get involved in an arts project that will see the river alight with hundreds of illuminated spheres.

The pulsation digital spheres will be making their way down the 66 miles of the Rover Derwent as part of the Derwent Pulse project taking place between October 8 and November 5 and funded by The Arts Council for England and The Sustainable Development Fund.

Pictured above are pupils from Grindleford Primary School creating art for the project.
