Chapel-en-le-Frith couple June and Doug Angus will mark their Diamond Wedding anniversary this weekend.

The couple met at work at Banners Department Store in Sheffield and married at St Paul’s Church, Wimbledon Park, on March 16, 1953. They have two daughters, four grandchildren and one great-grandson, and will celebrate with a family meal and a gathering at home.
