Do you know the men on Charlesworth memorial?

Community event.

Community event.

Charlesworth Parish Council is working with Glossopdale historian and founder of Battleground Tours, Nigel Dunkerley, to research the histories of the men listed on the war memorial situated in the village.

Councillors are now asking if anyone with photographs, stories or any further details of any of the men listed could contact Nigel at nigel@battlegroundtours.co.uk or on 01457 337950.

There are plans to turn the research into a booklet for distribution and possibly even have an evening to present the results.
