First aid for shoppers

People interested in learning valuable first aid skills are being invited to come along to Peak Village shopping centre at Rowsley this weekend

St John’s Ambulance will be recruiting interested shoppers for free two hour life support training sessions, as part of their Derbyshire Save a Life Scheme campaign.

Also joining in and supporting the cause will be some of the East Midlands Community First Responders (CFRs).

Terrence Morgan of Peak Village. “The scheme is a fantastic, pioneering programme and we’re lucky to have it in our area so here at Peak Village we are keen to offer our support.

“The aim of the two days is to provide information, guidance and the opportunity for further training.”
