Free health advice at monthly stall

editorial image

Shoppers will be offered information about health and support services at monthly market events run by Derbyshire County Council (DCC).

Different organisations will be represented on the stall each month including Age UK, the Stroke Association and Derbyshire County Stop Smoking Services.

Dave Allen, DCC’s cabinet member for health and communities, said: “This is a really convenient way for people to get free and friendly information about their health and lifestyle issues while they’re out and about.” Shoppers can visit the stall at Shirebrook Market on the last Friday of every month between 9.15am and noon until Friday, 26 September.
