Friends and family pay tribute at Ludlum funeral - with video
Friends and family of a Dales taxi driver who was found dead at Cromford Station last month have paid tribute to his life.
Mourners gathered at St Helen's Church in Darley Dale at 11am today (Tuesday October 20) to remember Darley Dale dad Stuart Ludlam.
Mr Ludlam, 43, who lived with his wife, sons and baby daughter at Yew Tree Close, was found dead in the boot of his car on Thursday September 17. He had been shot.
Pallbearers wearing Derby County Football Club scarfs carried Stuart's coffin in to the packed church for a moving service led by Rev Robert Quarton and Rev Alan Dawson of Dale Road Methodist Church.
Rev Dawson said Derby County fan Stuart was a well-known face around the Dales and he had left a great legacy of love for his family.
He was a pupil at Mortimer Wilson School in Alfreton and worked for M.J's Taxis in Middleton-by-Wirksworth for 15 years.
